Victoria comes to Ryan Artists with a law degree and years of experience, through which she honed her problem-solving and management skills. Among other experiences, Victoria has worked in Washington D.C. for the federal government, in the Oregon court system, and for the city of Portland. She has also worked in a plaintiffs’ labor law firm, as well as she spent time at a small law firm dedicated to business issues. While Victoria has enjoyed changing her focus from the law to the entertainment industry, she brings to Ryan Artists a detail-minded, goal-oriented mentality, which she mastered as an attorney, and as a mother of three.

Victoria has been associated with the Ryan Artists since 1996 when her middle daughter, Maura, joined the agency. Since then, Maura has been able to take her acting to new levels of exposure and success through Ryan Artists, with her current plans taking her to New York City for a year before she begins her college education. Victoria’s oldest daughter, Caitlin, a recent college graduate, is also heading to NYC to intern, while her youngest, Bridget, is a gregarious middle-schooler in Portland. Victoria and her daughters are all happy to consider Ryan Artists a family business.

Rachelle Ryan, Previous Owner / Consultant to Ryan Artists

Rachelle conceived of and began Ryan Artists in April of 1992 as an agency that represented models for fashion, sport, commercial print, and runway. Rachelle quickly expanded the business to include an acting division and became a SAG and AFTRA franchised agency, representing actors in film, television, industrials, commercials, and voice-overs. Rachelle now resides in Los Angeles, where she has lived since 2001 and she manages actors in television and film. Her actors have landed roles in such shows as Surface, Criminal Minds, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, CSI: Miami, and the films Dodgeball and The Ring, along with numerous movies of the week and national commercials. Rachelle is also producing several projects, including the movie Spiral, which was filmed in Portland. She recently opened a wine bar and art gallery in Studio City, CA, which represents artists with national reputations. She continues to offer her considerable expertise and advice to the Ryan Artists’ staff.
